I’m surprised no one has yet to consider sexual 1 for her, I think it’s really obvious for me: The sexual 1s anger comes from a need to control people. Her and starburst used to be very close when they were little, to the point starlight began to idealise their relationship, the sexual 1 have naturally high expectations in relationships, when starburst got his cutiemark she felt personally victimised by this and thought it was “unfair” for him to have his cutiemark because he began to pay more attention to his studies than her. sexual 1s care greatly for “fairness” in a relationship, if they perceive a injustice against them they will passionately advocate against it , they do not recognise that the other party has their own needs but only believing in their own principles of “justice” and therefore they r justified in their anger. this feelings amplified when starburst left the village to further his studies, and thought the world would be better without cutiemarks at all and so everyone would be “equal”, that’s were the idea of starlights village came from, a place where nobody has a special talent or difference so there will be no “arguing” or a need to to disagree with eachother, the sexual 1 so firmly believes in their ideas of perfection they begin to idealise this perfection and apply it to the external world, they moralise intimate relationships and believe that everything must follow a set of rules and must be controlled in order so everything can be “perfect”. Expect in this village not everyone was equal because starlights never gave up her cutiemake or her magic because she wanted to be able to control them, so no one would question her authority, starlight very firmly beloved she was right in what she was doing until the very last second, even post redemption you can see her in one of the episodes where she brainwashed the main 6 into doing chores. the sexual 1 tend to set high standards for others and themselves, so after her redemption arc she becomes very critical of herself for not being able to live up to her own standards, she was desperate to prove herself, the sexual 1 has a compulsion to improve themselves and their surroundings, they want to improve themselves so they prove their worth, so if she did something that she considered wrong she would spiral, in one of the episodes starlight has a dream of come if back to the village but only being meet with harsh criticism, starlights worst fear was facing judgement for what she did, she didn’t want to confront starburst for the same reason, because she didn’t want him to judge her. //For an E1 type with a sexual subtype, dealing with conflict in relationships can be especially difficult, due to this character's intense desire to avoid discord. Biography
The (unofficial) newbie of the Mane Cast. Starlight Glimmer is the villain of Season 5, featuring in both the premiere "The Cutie Map" and the finale "The Cutie Re-Mark." She felt that cutie marks only led to pain and unhappiness as the differences between ponies pulled them apart, so she created a community where the residents gave up their cutie marks to know "true" friendship, while Starlight secretly keeps her own cutie mark so she can use her magic to enforce this conformity. When Starlight is exposed she flees, spying on Twilight throughout Season 5, until she returns in the season finale to get vengeance on Twilight by using Time Travel to stop Twilight and her friends from getting their cutie marks. However, when she realizes how important the group is to Equestria, Starlight stands down and surrenders. Intrigued by Starlight's magical prowess, Twilight takes her on as her student, and Starlight becomes a recurring character in Season 6, living with Twilight in her castle as she learns about the magic of friendship. Twilight appoints her as guidance counselor of the newly opened School of Friendship in Season 8, then promotes her to headmare in Season 9.
