rarity's not a 4. rarity is the 3 postergirl. ~she wants to be recognized NOT for her identity, her authenticity or her own self at all, but for her work and her skills, talent. when a 4 desires love, they withdraw into themselves as to earn attention because they believe people will give them more affection if they project the image of being different, deep, or mysterious. ~4's coping mechanism of introjection does not fit rarity at all. 4s believe they are their emotions: the good, the bad, and the terrible. especially the terrible. 4s are comfortable within and even prefer negativity as they feel that wallowing in or showing negative emotions will garner love, sympathy, and attention. ~3s on the other hand believe that the image they project, their success, and excellence in work is what will give them the love they so desire; while 4s feel they are their emotions, 3s feel they are their work. // "Thus, among its different subtypes, social E3 is the one that best fits this description of the vain personality. #on knees The bearer of the Element of Generosity. A unicorn with an eye for fashion and a generous spirit, Rarity is a beautiful clotheshorse. A huge fan of Fairy Tale-style romances and Happily Ever Afters. While there's nothing new about a girl's cartoon having a fashion-focused character, Rarity breaks from this stereotype in that instead of following trends, she creates them as the owner and lead designer of Ponyville's premier dress shop: the Carousel Boutique. As of Season 4, she appears to be diversifying into interior design. Her Pillar of Old Equestria is Mistmane.
