Personality

What personality type is Stanley Snyder? Stanley Snyder is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sp/sx - 863 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

i'm more inclined to go with sp/sx 8w9 atm but his dedication, loyalty and willingness to sacrifice himself (or anyone/anything else for that matter) for xeno make me wonder about 6w5 (so/sx or vice versa). anyone else thought about that? EDIT: i'm pretty sure by now that he's indeed a so/sx or sx/so 6w5 (though i'm tending towards social first). i just don't see that much 8 motivation in him. he is independent by nature, being a Ti-Se user, however, aside from him acting mostly entirely on his own while xeno is taken by senkuu and the gang, for the reason that xeno is taken by senkuu and the gang, all we ever see of him is following xeno around and carrying out his orders (whereas he previously used to be an elite soldier, also following orders on some greater scale). he constantly uses his skill for the sake of someone or something he believes in, or that can guide him, this in the present day being xeno and his plans, and the only real aggression on his own behalf he shows is when trying to get him back. xeno to him is a point of security, something or rather someone who grounds him, gives him orders and thus structure. while he does enjoy some of the more thrilling aspects of the hunt of and earlier fights vs senkuu and the gang, again, he is a high Se user, and a trained/experienced soldier, and this is not shown to be something he actively seeks out, it's part of the duties he's carrying out, which is his #1 focus. i don't see him as socially dominant though, because he is so very obviously focused on some sort of intimate relationship and his own desires, and beyond being a Ti > Se user, he's still very much focused on doing things his own way, and has no probem doing so when forced to, as shown by the incredibly long hunt after xeno, which ultimately ended by him sacrificing himself for the sake of xeno (and like the basically first thing he asks upon revival is what his next job is gonna be....). so to conclude, i don't see the sheer survival-oriented, ever-challenging nature of a sp/sx 8w9 in him as much as the security-, structure- and duty-oriented, yet still independent and, when pressed, impulsive nature of so/sx 6w5.
