IEI MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is IEI? IEI is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sx - 469 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
𝐈𝐄𝐈 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄 IEI does not have a stable archetype that can be directly correlated with the Enneagram Subtypes. Let us begin by examining the correlations. This sociotype was linked to Social 4, Self-preservation 6, and Sexual 5. From the outset, we can see that this sociotype is difficult to correlate with any single instinct, as these three subtypes represent three different instincts, yet share a common foundation: emotion and intellect: - SO4: Emotional-Intellectual-Emotional - SX5: Intellectual-Intellectual-Emotional - SP6: Intellectual-Active-Emotional The psychodynamic structure of these three Enneagram subtypes does not fully align with the cognitive-behavioral nature of this sociotype, given that all three are characterized by self-protection and romanticism, and are fundamentally emotional types which can be confused each other, especially when typing ourselves, any subject must have had a little period of type crisis revolving around this emotional triad: SO4? SX5? Or maybe SP6? Why SO4 is not totally compatible? Regarding SO4, this subtype is not positively hopeful or inclined to envision a better future; rather, it is quite sad, tragic, and heavily focused on pain and negative emotions, which contradicts the Fe(+) of the IEI. Furthermore, it is a very dependent subtype that struggles to tolerate long-term solitude, which stems from time-related avarice—a trait inherent to introverted intuition that drives the sociotype and the individual towards an acute awareness of time and its allocation. This is something that Social 4 does not fully possess, as it tends to focus on finding a relationship to survive and be accepted, projecting its false lacking pseudoseductive self-image onto others with silent whinings. What SO4 has the most is shame and a strong desire to be accepted (Fi) and Loved (Fi). Why SP6 is not totally compatible? On the other hand, SP6 is another manipulator of relationships and desires, similar to SO4, but more active and with different reasons. Driven by the fear of threats from external enemies, it seeks friendships to feel protected, thus seeking a pseudo-authority, even on a subjective-horizontal level, to feel secure, only to later devalue it. It is a kind of wolf in sheep's clothing, whose fear of being overwhelmed and hurt by potential enemies confirms its neurotic need for protection, influencing the people it idealizes and subsequently devalues as soon as they are found to be imperfect and not in line with its standards. This underscores how SP6 embodies FiNe Ego and lacks focus on long-term future events or unfolding developments, much like SO4 ignores these due to its hidden need to be loved and saved by someone, establishing subjective relationships. Their outlook on the future is not positive and does not involve introverted intuition with a positive charge, as what they exhibit is anxiety about the short-term future or the present, rather than the long-term future, as introverted intuition aspires to. Both SO4 and SP6 do not seem to have complete mastery over time; on the contrary, they seem to suffer from a pervasive anxiety and somatic chronophobia, which do not fully align with positive introverted intuition. As for the last subtype, SX5, which is the most ambivalent, it grapples with avarice and solitude on the one hand, and the romantic desire for a relationship on the other. Its neurosis is thus an eternal conflict between eros and avarice, which is difficult to correlate with a sociotype that is a romantic dreamer and has been described without much reference to potential neuroses. SX5 intensely desires someone with whom to establish trust and intimacy, setting high and perfect standards for the partner to adhere to, oscillating between arrogance, loneliness and lack of discipline and seductive romantic desires, when neurotic peaks are high. However, its romantic ideals are very compatible with those of the IEI, making this subtype the most compatible. There is, however, a problem: SX5 is still a E5, and its passion remains avarice, which is highly compatible with introverted intuition and the anxious desire to use time as one sees fit, without ever deviating from it, especially when it comes to dedicating time to others. The emotional and physical detachment of SX5 is the reason why, despite being the most compatible subtype with the IEI, it does not guarantee that the archetype is entirely stable, but only stable enough to exclude the other two alternatives: SO4 and SP6. In conclusion, all three Enneagram subtypes are emotional subtypes, to which the IEI can hardly adapt. The only subtype that can be correlated more coherently is Sexual 5. Why? Because avarice is a passion that prioritizes time, it can be well-aligned with introverted intuition, while the other two subtypes can be considered not only ambivalent but literally contradictory to the ego block of this sociotype.
