What personality type is Keith Shadis? Keith Shadis is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/sp - 641 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
I personally can't see why he's typed as a Si dom. Just because he didn't want to change his ways doesn't automatically mean that he uses Si. Keith didn't agree with it, but not because he distrusts a method where he never had personal experience with, or because he saw the plan as unrealistic and that it couldn't be implemented to reality. He literally only denied the plan because he couldn't accept the fact that someone could think of something better than him. His whole personality was completely based on his desire to be a "special person". And before people start thinking: But ISTJs can also have a desire to be special! Please hear me out. He was always focussing on reaching his personal ideals, to be one of the "chosen people” and to reach those ideals he ignored objective or realistic facts (Low Se-Si usage and badly developed Te). Keith came across as a unhealthy Ni dom who was dissatisfied with the world he was living in so he believed in himself that he was a special person who will surely achieve greatness in his life. Things went wrong however when he realized that his expectations didn't fit into reality (Inferior Se). The expeditions were always complete failures and he had difficulty putting the blame on himself. ISTJs are people who are good at focussing on concrete facts and details. Keith never shows any of this. It took him a very long time to learn from his mistakes and his desire to go outside the walls was because he wanted to widen his worldview instead of just living every day knowing that there is more under the surface. I think INTJ or ENTJ, even ESTJ makes more sense to me than ISTJ.
Biography
Keith Shadis was the head instructor of the Military Training Corps. He was in charge of their training and evaluation to become soldiers. Keith was formerly the 12th Commander of the Survey Corps, being the direct predecessor of Erwin Smith, and the only Commander in the corps history to quit before death.
