It's not about just having a great memory, it's also being the nature of her memory being incredibly systematic and detail-oriented and just knowing things for the sake of knowing things, and not for any ulterior abstract purpose or motivation. This line of dialogue also betrays any Ni argument, because Ni doms typically try to search for extrinsic meaning in their observations, they are unsatisfied with just knowledge that does not serve any specific purpose nor have potential to fuel Ni abstract interpretations. Ni doms feel that there must always be more, some greater hidden meaning or motive behind what they see. 1w9 vs 9w1: Hanekawa is idealistic and quite literally textbook. "The class president of class presidents." However I fail to see core e1 because while she has the qualities of an e1, she does not have the fear of an e1. Furthermore, while she is harsh on herself, she does not try to apply nor force those ideals on those around her, and doesn't assert herself in the way a rigid e1 would. Hanekawa's real issues stem from her inability to stand up for herself (which e1s have no problems doing). She consistently gives way to her abusive parents, isn't bold enough to confess to Araragi, and basically just lets bad things happen to her without really trying to fight back and continuing to wear a painful smile on her face. Hence this repressed anger results in the creation of Black Hanekawa, an alter-ego that takes out all of Hanekawa's frustration irrationally on others as a coping mechanism for the e9 mask.
Biography
Tsubasa Hanekawa (羽川 翼, Hanekawa Tsubasa) is Koyomi Araragi's classmate, close friend, and a class representative in Naoetsu Private High School. She is known at school as an overachiever and model student who is admired by many. However, hidden by her achievements in school and her kind personality is a tense family life caused by unfortunate circumstances.
