What personality type is Kanae Kocho? Kanae Kocho is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - so/sx - 296 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
I was thinking there wasn't enough to go off for her enneagram but after considering it (and asking @[Pigeon Dance] and @[Hoper likes MBTI] lmao) she rlly does seem like a 1w9 Core 1s have an idealistic view of the world and consider how it should be and put that into action in a moralistic way. Kanae wants to unite humans and demons and in order to do so she becomes a demon slayer. She considers slaying demons an act of duty from her self imposed moralistic expectations. She says that by slaying demons she is effectively cleansing them and saving them. Also 1 -> 7 integration leads to openness and that's also apparent in her interactions with the butterfly girls. When shinobu bought kanao on a whim kanae was very accepting of her despite her flaws. She says to shinobu to "not think about it much, kanao is so cute!" Clearly showing her flexibility. I also believe her wing is 9 as opposed to 2: shes generally not very critical and maybe a little bit avoidant of arguments? When shinobu insisted on getting revenge she dropped the description of douma which could be an indication of that. Obviously these traits aren't enough to be core 9 but I do think it's her wing I've also speculated that kanae was designed to be like tanjiro so her being core 1 (because he is as well) makes the most sense
